Parasite Resistant Livestock for Sale
We specialize in raising parasite-resistant livestock through regenerative farming practices. Living in the South, parasite resistance is critical. We never worm our animals, and they are all raised on pasture. Surrounded by the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, we believe in following God's design by rotational grazing our animals and breeding to create the most resilient stock. โContact us via email with any questions or to make a purchase @ renewedhomestead@gmail.comโ
Aine (3500) is a mid-size Jersey who is currently fresh and in milk. She is great in the stanchion (she loves her treats). She stands quietly for both hand and machine milking. She is halter- and lead-trained and has a sweet, easygoing soul. She is thriving on pasture, with hay and some alfalfa in the winter, and a small amount of high-quality grain during milking, including oats, barley, sunflower seeds, and field peas. She is a bit nervous of strangers at first, but once she warms up, she gives lots of love.

Cara, (1500) Aine’s heifer calf, is a 6-month-old Jersey/Dexter cross. She’s already halter- and lead-trained! She’s calm, handled daily, and she should be an incredible family cow when she grows up. We are in the process of weaning her from mama now, as you will see in the pics with her new jewelry. ๐
Testing has been done on both girls.
โ
VGL Tested: Both are confirmed A1/A2.
Clean Health: Both tested Negative for Johnne’s and BVD.
Mountain Hardy: Raised right here in WNC and ready for our climate.
